I am passionate about creating a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering refuge where we can work together to fan the flicker of courage and hope that brought you here into a fire that fuels change and healing.
People describe me as warm and encouraging, but I’m not afraid to ask tough questions or swim in the deep waters with you to help you persevere through the storms and navigate the uncertainty of life. With an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, (Organizational Behavior) and a background in the technology, health, and fitness industries, I embrace complexity and change while pursuing progress.
I have personally benefitted from individual, couple, family, and group therapy, so I respect the bravery required to seek wise counsel. The honor of serving in marriage ministry for over a decade inspired me to complete a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a concentration in trauma. I consider myself a lifelong learner, and I continue to seek training in EMDR and advanced trauma-informed treatment strategies. My experience as a therapist includes working with individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages, as well as a wide variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, parenting, domestic and dating violence, sexual abuse and assault, grief, complex trauma, etc.
I will respect your unique journey and craft a customized, solution-oriented approach based on evidence-based practices to address your needs and incorporate your values, culture, worldview, and faith. Using creative therapeutic experiences, we will set achievable goals, activate and engage your strengths, resilience, and resources, identify next steps, monitor progress, and transform problematic patterns.
You might laugh, cry, scream or sit in wonder, as I come alongside you to find a hope-filled path that leads from where you are to where you want to be.
Oh God I’m not who I used to be Jesus I’m not who I used to be Cause I am redeemed
Thank God, redeemed
